The Carborundum Bench and Pedestal Wheel line has two abrasives to answer all your deburring, shaping and sharpening needs: aluminum oxide for high speed tool steels and other metals, and silicon carbide for non-ferrous metals. Reducing bushings are included with all Carborundum bonded abrasive bench and pedestal grinding wheels.

Aluminum Oxide

Ideal for removing burrs on steel parts, as well as sharpening your high-speed steel cutting tools.  Note: Bushings included.

Silicon Carbide

Ideal for sharpening your carbide-tipped cutting tools. Note: Bushings included.

Reducing Bushings

Reducing bushings can be safely used to reduce the center hole in a grinding wheel.They are designed to fit freely on the spindle and maintain proper clearance. It is important that the bushing diameter does not come in contact with the flange bearing area and does not exceed the width of the wheel.
