Description of Conveyor Grinding
Conveyorized grinding is a flat type grinding or finishing operation that employs a horizontal conveyor mechanism to provide automatic workpiece delivery and removal to a vertical belt grinding head or heads.
A conveyor machine can process any type of flat material as long as adequate provision has been provided to hold the workpiece on the conveyor. Usual applications involve the flat dimensioning or finishing of ferrous and nonferrous metals, in part form or as continuous coil, for use as hand tools, saw blade stock, firearms, furniture, sporting goods, appliances, hardware components, and much more.
