Description of Coil Grinding
Coil grinding is a method of processing stainless steel, aluminum or other flat metal surfaces in enldess coil form with coated abrasive belts, on a single or muliple head grinder.
Metal processing in coil form has tremendous advantage over individual sheet processing. Waste is reduced because the metal can be cut to exact length, extra long lengths can be accommodated, and inventories are drastically reduced, with the ability to deliver virtually any length material from a polished coil.
